"GOD'S BIG BACKYARD!"

June 22-26, 2008 - 5:30 to 8:00 each evening

Main Street United Methodist Church - 800 S Main Street, Kokomo, Indiana

St. Luke's is joining Grace United Methodist Church, Main Street United Methodist Church, Trinity United Methodist Church (Kokomo Urban Outreach) and Alto United Methodist Church for Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2008!  We're expecting 150 or 200 or more children as we hold a community VBS at Main Street's building!  Please join us in praying that God will bless the children through VBS.

Bible School will feature these exciting opportunities:

Community Corner - will help the kids learn to share God's love with others

Clothesline Creations - will give the kids hands-on activities with age-appropriate, pre-planned crafts

Backyard Bible Club - will feature "Backyard Bash" skits and songs at the opening and closing of VBS

Backyard Games - will let the kids focus their energy on positive, fun games

Preschool Class for ages 3 & 4 - will provide stories, crafts, games and songs for the littlest ones

Volunteers are needed for the above activities, as well as:

Group leaders

Registration helpers

Decorations

Set up - help decorate Main Street Church on June 21

Clean up - pick up and quick vacuuming each day

Take Down - removing all props and decorations on June 26
